Overview
Treats hyperthyroidism (overproduction of the thyroid hormone) in cats. Reduces the amount of thyroid hormone produced by the pet's body. Topical gel is absorbed through the skin.A transdermal gel is a medication mixed with a special compound that promotes the absorption of the medication through the skin. This type of medication must be applied to clean skin that has little hair, which the pet cannot lick. It is usually applied to the inside tip of the ear.
