Finding the right bird cage is a critical component to keeping your bird happy. Round bird cages are not the best choice of bird cage for your bird.
Bird cages are necessary for most

Bird cages come in all shapes and sizes. Some of them are square bird cages, some are rectangular and some bird cages are round bird cages.
Bird cages are designed to keep the bird safe from all of the dangers that exist in a human habitat. This includes electronics, water, hot surfaces, fans, windows and doors. This also includes cats, dogs and small children. While these three floor crawlers may want to play with your bird, it’s not wise to trust any of them with your precious pet. Though bird cages are usually a great way to keep your bird safe, round bird cages are not advisable.
Steer clear of round bird cages
Round bird cages are appealing to people because they’re aesthetically pleasing, but beware. Round bird cages are not a good space for your bird and should be avoided if at all possible.
Round bird cages are not good for your bird because they confuse a bird, do not utilize space well and do not provide a safe place for the bird. Round bird cages confuse birds because they cause a warped space perception for the bird. This will especially confuse a bird that is not clipped and wants to attempt to fly around its cage. Round bird cages are also ill advised because they don’t have any corners. While this may seem like a silly reason not to get a bird cage, it’s actually important. Birds like to have a place in the cage where they feel secure and safe from the world. This is usually in a corner, where they know that a predator cannot sneak up on them from the backside.
If not round, than what?
Different birds need different cages, but here are a few things to remember. Get a bird cage that is the right size for your bird. Do not try to jam a large bird in a small cage. This will make the bird feel claustrophobic and will prevent the bird from exercising. Also, do not get a huge cage for a small bird. This will make your bird feel overexposed, which will make your bird nervous. Round bird cages may not be ideal, but remember, there are other factors to consider when looking for a bird cage.
