   Once known as Round Heads or Bull Terriers, their name was later changed to Boston Terriers, taken from their place of origin. They are one of the true American dogs -- created and bred in US. These dogs began evolving around 1870 and their ancestry could be pinpointed to one dog called Hooper's Judge.
