Some people are put off by the appearance of English Bull Dogs, but they are really gentle animals and make the

It is perfectly fine to have an English Bull Dog as a pet if you live in an apartment. English Bull Dogs do well in small spaces because they are not really all that active especially they get older. They don't like cold temperatures, nor do they like it when it is really hot outside. They like to lie around and sleep a lot. However, in order to make sure your dog is fit, you do need to take it out for a walk on a regular basis.
You might want to make sure that the dog does not sleep in the same room as you because you may not get much sleep. English Bull Dogs tend to snore loudly and some of them develop breathing problems. The average lifespan for this dog breed is about 8 years, but some dogs have lived longer than that. When it comes to grooming, these dogs do not need a lot of brushing. Occasional brushing with a firm bristle brush will keep the coat looking good, but you should only bathe these dogs when necessary. When you have English Bull Dogs in the house, it will be like having children around because you need to wash their faces with a damp cloth each day to clean the folds in the face.
