Otherwise, the dog might need to use the bathroom in the early hours of the morning and if no one walks them, they may pee on the floor.
Purchasing a crate is also a good idea. The dogs will have a warm place to go when they sleep and, during the day when no one is home, they can stay in the crate so that they don't hurt themselves. Proper training will lead the puppy into practicing good habits into adulthood. The puppies will be better behaved and will be happier all the way around. Since Havanese puppies are small, they can catch cold easier than other dogs. They need to go a vet if they do get a cold because their immune systems cannot handle major illness. These dogs are susceptible to cancer when they grow old. Tumors on the legs or in the ears are not uncommon. Constant monitoring of tumors and possible surgery are the only things that can be done about the cancer. Sometimes removing the tumor can help, but other might develop.
