    The Peruvian Inca Orchid is not currently registered by the AKC but is recognized by the AKC Foundation Stock Service and is registered with the Peruvian Inca Orchid Dog Club of America and grouped as a sighthound.

    17-22 inches in height and weighs 26-50 pounds.
  3. Coat:

    For those without coats, the majority of the body is hairless except for small amounts on the head, extremities, and tail. The skin should be smooth and resilient. Those with coats do not have an undercoat and range in texture from soft to moderately coarse.
  4. Head & Muzzle:

    The width and length of the head should be approximately equal and the muzzle is parallel with the skull with a stop that is hardly noticeable. Hairless have pricked ears and coated have rose ears that can fold back. The eyes are slanted and medium size with the color complimenting the coat. Firmly pressed lips snuggle close to the gums. Both a scissor and level bite are acceptable.
  5. Body:

    The neck should be well developed, long, arched, and flow smoothly into the rest of the body. The body is small boned and light but contains strength. The chest is narrow and the ribs are sprung. Strong, long legs support the body and contain webbed feet that are sufficiently padded. The tail is long and pointed at the end.
