1. Pet Temperament:
Rotties are extremely obedient and trainable dogs. They become very friendly with children and love to play with them.

Rotties are ideal for apartment lives. They will require the outdoors for regular exercise, as they love to exercise a lot.
3. Pet's Health:
Rotties are known to have entropion, which is a narrowing of the slit between the eyelids. They can contract hip dysplasia. This breed must be given rationed food as they tend to overeat and gain weight.

Avoid all rotties that have any other color except black. Black in combination with rust or brown is okay. Check for matting of the coat.
