If you are interested in rescuing a particular breed, most breed clubs can
assist you in finding a rescue organization that meets your needs.

dog breed clubs may include rescue as part of the mission of the club; other dog
breed clubs may have rescue organizations that they regularly work with or that
they can recommend.
Many dog breed clubs also provide educational programs to help you learn more about your breed. These programs can be beneficial if you already own a certain breed or even if you are simply considering whether a particular breed is right for you.
