Preventative Measures – Digestive lubricants are one of the best ways to help prevent hairballs. A digestive lubricant will help keep the hairballs small and allow them to pass normally through the digestive system.
Some Hairballs Likely – Because cats groom themselves, hairballs are likely. Don´t become alarmed at the first sign of a hairball. If the hairballs become frequent, you should look into remedies or consult your vet.
Brushing Will Help – If hairballs seem especially problematic for your cat, you can try brushing her more often, everyday if you can. This will help get rid of some of the excess hair and may help reduce hairballs.
