Temperature Control – The rest of a cat´s body is not as sensitive to temperature as his face, so temperature control is very important when choosing a heated bed.
Types of Beds – There are three types of heated beds available: electric, microwaveable, and self-heating.
Medical Grade – Some heated beds are designed for cats that have just had surgery or are older and possibly arthritic. They often contain medical grade foam. They are a bit more expensive, but worth it for the added warmth and comfort that they provide your cat.
