Not only do cat treat toys provide exercise for your cat, they can provide some healthy entertainment for you, as your cat becomes animated in her pursuit of the treats!
Things to Consider:
Toy Ball – The treat toy ball is the most common treat toy. A small, hollow ball, with hole(s) in it, is filled with a few treats and placed on the floor. The ball has to be rolled and rotated to get the treats to come out. It´s great fun for your cat!
Keep Toy Ball Clean – Though you can´t see the inside of a treat ball or dome, they get dirty, especially if you´re using chewy treats. You need to be sure to clean them regularly.
Make Sure Fabric is Safe – Catnip toys can be anything from a stuffed animal (stuffed with catnip, of course) to a bag or ball. Whatever type of toy you choose, you need to make sure the fabric is such that it won´t snag your kitties claws.
