Having a "feline first aid kit" in the house is a good idea. Stock is with items, such as gauze, hydrogen peroxide, saline eyewash, tweezers, exam gloves, and blunt-tipped scissors.
Things to Consider:
Attitude of Injured Animals – Injured animals are nearly always frightened and on the defense. If your cat is hurt, you need to remember to approach your pet with caution and to avoid eye contact, as your cat will interpret that as a sign of aggression.
Safe Restraint – If you have to give your cat pills, and they can´t be given with food, you´ll need to restrain your cat. Do this by holding you cat´s head from the top. It´s the most secure way to restrain your cat without causing any discomfort.
Soft Food for Medicine – If medications are administered with food, you should try to use soft cat food or a favorite soft treat in which the medicine is imbedded.
