Styptic Powder – When trimming your kitty–s nails, you should have some styptic powder on hand to stop any slight bleeding caused when you nick the quick of the nail.
Get the Whole Nail – You need to remember to press the pad of your cat´s paw so that the nail comes out all the way.
Reward Your Kitty – Because most cats don´t like having their nails trimmed, you should reward your kitty with her favorite treat once the process is over. And, if your cat is especially adverse to the idea, trim only one paw during each trimming session.
