Things to Consider:
Skin Type – If your animal is prone to dry skin or allergies, select a shampoo that is unscented or gentle on his skin. Some shampoos can irritate and lead to excessive scratching.
Eye Area – Even though we try to avoid it, shampoo can easily make its way into the eye area and cause discomfort. It is always easier to purchase a shampoo that will not irritate the eyes, which makes washing the face area a lot easier.
Larger Animals – If you have a rather large animal, sometimes using a foaming shampoo can be much easier. You will be able to see where you have applied the shampoo, allowing for good coverage and easy application. Foams tend to rise a lot easier as well, cutting down your wash time.
