Read About Choosing Sheep/Goat Deworm/Insect.

Providing care for your animals at home can be easy, and will help prevent further complications which may require more serious attention.

Things to Consider:

  • Fresh water available – If you are administering deworming medications to your sheep or goats, be sure to provide plenty of fresh water for them to drink. Water can often play a big role in helping pellets distribute and dissolve quickly.

  • Sick Animals – If your animals are showing any signs of stress or are very ill, an insecticide should not be applied, even if insects are apparent. A trip to the vet is necessary first.

  • Young Sheep/Goats – Insecticides should never be applied to animals that are under three months of age. If your young sheep or goats are having insect problems, seek advice from a vet for proper treatment.
