Read About Choosing Sheep/Goat Supplements

To help fill in the areas where regular feeding is not providing adequate nutrients, supplements can be added.

Things to Consider:

  • Milk Replacers – Oftentimes, mothers cannot provide their babies with enough milk, or perhaps they are not feeding at all. Milk replacers can fill in this void by providing the same amount of nutrients as mother's milk.

  • Feeding supplies – Make sure that you have the supplies you need for feeding, such as bottles and nipples. Milk replacers also work in automatic feeders.

  • Storage – Always store your supplements in a cool, dry area away from excessive moisture, and where they can be easily broken into by other animals. An overdose of supplements could be harmful to your animals.
