When medications and treatments need to be administered to your livestock on a regular basis, syringes and needles can help with this task.
Things to Consider:
Disposal – Needles can carry all sorts of bacteria and disease and should not be used multiple times. Properly dispose of them in a container, not just a plastic bag, where the animals can poke through.
Injection site – All medications that are prescribed or sold over-the-counter should clearly state where the injection site should be. Be sure to find this information, as it is important for accurate treatment.
Vet Care – If your animals are really ill, make sure to have a vet come, check them and monitor their treatments. This is especially important for diseases that spread rapidly to other cattle and cannot be controlled using simple home remedies.
