When cleaning solutions aren't enough, try using a scraper or brush to help loosen and remove hardened minerals from your aquarium.
Things to Consider:
Acrylic cleaning -- Be sure that there is no gravel on your cleaning tools before coming into contact with the acrylic, as this can leave scratches.
Scrapers/Pads -- Select the scraper or pad that is appropriate for your tank. They come specially made for both glass and acrylic.
Cleaning -- Be sure to thoroughly rinse and disinfect your tools after each tank cleaning.
