Things to Consider:

When buying a collar for your ferret, get an ID tag for him, too.

Be sure frontpacks and collars are snug, but not too tight.

When you're first getting your pet used to a collar, put it on him for a few minutes a day, over several days, to get him used to the feel of the collar.
